Had nothing to do with face book, when I got called..some scammers are piggy backing legit numbers as a way to keep FTC from blocking or prosecuting.
This number called me around midnight when my phone was off. I'm not sure who it is but I've gotten several calls from this number in the middle of the night. When I try and call back the call doesn't go through. It's starting to make me uncomfortable
The call is from facebook. If you don't have a facebook account, then someone is using your phone number to create one. DUH. If you do have a FB account then someone you know (maybe yourself and you don't remember) is trying to access your FB account. It's that simple. All this "making me uneasy" and "I don't believe it's from FB" stuff is silly.
Received an SMS from Facebook, 5:59 a.m. (GMT) with the text: "6цифр code to RESET your password "Facebook", at this time I was sleeping and did not go to FB to verify your account, then sprinkle with a few messages in 8:26; 8:31; 8:40; 10:07; 11:55 (GMT), ignored, next, came a message from the number +79673125988 in HINDI - "Chaman23236 कोड के लिए अपने पासवर्ड को रीसेट" after incessantly began to call from 11:29 to 11:40 (6 missed calls) with n+16502851001 from California Daly City USA, in the end I blocked all the numbers, because I didn't change the settings of your account, do not create any business through the social network. I joined Facebook only because of the mobile version of the game "Wormix" to add friends on the game in your team. Very suspicious! When registered on Facebooke: then came the CONFIRMATION message via your fixed phone number, but not for a password RESET. Maybe someone tried to hack my page!!!
The phone rang and the text from facebook came in at the same time. Facebook is supposed to just text me a security code when I log in after shutting down the cpu.
You would only get notice of a password reset as far as I've seen via email. Probably a scammer sending out messages to try and get your password so they can use your account for spamming crap links

I got a call this afternoon 4/10/26 of a man saying he wanted to buy my building. I declined and said I was not interested and hung up. He called two times before and hung up.

Claims it is Indiana Health Department doing survey. Said they will call back. Called back at 6:00 pm. Was not home to answered. Did not leave a message. Could not find this number for Indiana Health Department.
