Got three calls yesterday. Today on the fourth call I answered. It was the car care center guy. He said he was calling about the insurance quote I requested on my car. He correctly identified the car. It's not registered in my name but I do insure it, so I conclude they are getting their call list from a insurance database. I told him I don't own the car he identified and didn't request a quote and he said he will remove me from their list. We'll see.
okay, I found the secret....called the 701 491 7831 back...quickly after a short recording of operators being busy a female came on the line...after her asking for me, she knew who I was per my phone #..I asked what are you selling me...she said nothing and went on with this is recorded for yadda yadda whatever....and starte her scpeal..I had to brutly interupt her (like I care) and said :"Im also recording this" bingo she says okay and hangs up...Works, now lets see how long it keeps them o0ff my phone...Isnt there anything we can do legally to end this????
I called them to find out why the hell they call my cell phone 4 times a day. Wanted to provide me with auto ins quote, said I was not interested and they asked me if I was still driving a Ford Explorer and did I still own my house. Asked them to please not call again. Several months ago I was price shopping for car ins so I guess that is how they got my info. Don't you just love when a complete stranger asks you "do you still own ----------?", how about none of your business.
Has called THREE times already today. And it's on my cell. How can I stop these? Being on a no call list doesn't help!
I don't answer calls where the number isn't recognized and this one never leaves a message. I blocked the call and checked here to confirm I did the right thing. I did.
