This number is from Navy Federal Credit Union. I had my online banking account attempted to be hacked and they were contacting me to a) let me know it happened and b) set up my new accounts.For those thinking I was just scammed please note that I had been getting calls from this number several times a day for almost a week on my cell phone. I never answered it as it was a number I didn't know. On Friday I went to log into my bank account (payday) and was locked out due to too many failed log-in attempts. That was weird to me because both my phone and computer have my log-in info saved. So I contacted NFCU calling their 800 number which I got from their website. I was told that number is their main switchboard number (their headquarters are in Merrifield VA) and it was the fraud and security department trying to call me to let me know about the attempted hack.

This number has attempted to call me over the last several days. I do not answer and no message is left. From reading the posts on this number, if the caller is claiming to be Navy Federal CU, the call is a scam as I have never had accounts with Navy Federal CU.

This is Navy Federal calling to complain about a past-due credit card bill that's not actually past due. But good luck getting them to take any accountability to fix their awful billing system.

I called it says "you have reached a non working number at Navy Federal Credit Union" That seems to be an odd message to me folks.

It's from NFCU credit fraud. Automatic call when you report fraud then charge something to verify new charges.

I received a call from this number this morning. I have never or do I now have an account with NFCU. The number maybe legitimate as some have eluded. It's not legitimate caller, particularly for someone who does not have an account with them.Government and other companies' data files have been compromised. Be careful.

This is Navy Federdal. Didn't answer, called back, got pre-recorded "...non working Navy Federal number". Called NFCU number I use, got through to fraud, found out that it was a legit call concerning my business account.

If so, why are they calling people with no accounts with them in all 50 states?

Actually I do get this call often from NFCU, they are very good at catching possible fraud. Sometimes its just about a charge they feel might be a fraud, even though its not. So yes, this is a real number from NFCU.
