Same identical thing just happened to me. A Indian accented man told me my computer was receiving malicious virus as we speak. Could barely understand him, between the accent and all the noise in the background. When I finally asked where he was calling from he said California, but my caller ID said Vienna, VA. He said that he was from Windows Service Provider. I told him that I would take it back to where I bought it from and have them look and fix if need be--he said that I didn't want to do that. I told him that I wasn't going to do what he wanted me to so he can load a virus on my computer. I told him not to call me anymore, so we will see what happens.

I receive multiple calls from this number daily, say they are the grant department for the us government and that I'm to receive $9000.00 just have to be a Western union in 45 min or I can't have, same number sometimes hangs up when I answered, my number is in registered. But this has been going on for months. Can anyone make it stop. Please help.
Robo call, said the call was from Account Services. Stated that there was no problem with my account but I could speak to an account specialist by pressing 1 or be removed from the list by pressing 2. I have received this call numerous times. I have pressed 2 and obviously that doesn't work as they are still calling. I believe they are phishing for credit info. The number is now blocked on my phone so hopefully I will hear no more from this pest.
these scum bags wake you out of a dead sleep, claim to be microsoft and then mess up your computer. wouldn't have taken call if they were awake. they are very persistent. I expect the phone number is a spoof. they claim to be microsoft

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
