I'm getting the same thing. How did you stop it, or when did Irma stop.

Sounds like a scam to me. Why would you want to set up and account to get an inmates name? why would you set-up funds?

I think this number might be connected to a an inmate phone service.

Received a call from this number today at 11:30am PST. Recorded message sais something about a collect call from an inmate at Corcoran State Prison and that I didn't have enough money in my account to accept charges (?). I was directed to call another number to set up an account and fund it. I do not know anyone in prison and I certainly didn't call the number to set up an account. If they call again, I will put this number in my reject list. seems like a scam to me.

I had the same experience but one time the message said it was a substance abuse facility and another time a coreectional facility.

Got a call from 713-568-6986 last night at 9:40pm to my Google voice. The following was transcribed by Google voice "... You have a call from an inmate at The California state... Named Michael... Press # to continue this call... This call and your telephone number will be monitored and recorded. To accept this call and say hello. Dino funds now po. Hey and hang up now or what's going on with nonconventional Options to decline this call. Hang on P Well, I was not accepted."The transcribing didnt match the message exactly, but you get the idea. I didn't answer. I don't know anyone named Michael OR anyone in California. And I haven't given my Google voice number out to anyone either soooo, scam? Probably. :(

Just got a call from this number, 713-568-6986, and when I called it back, a gentleman answered and stated it was a private residence. I told him what was on this sight, he told me he had been getting calls for months abt this. He is going to call Verizon tomorrow to report what has been going on.

I got a call from this number talking about department of corrections. My account balance is low and funds couldn't be transferred. I have no idea what the heck this Is.

I got called tonight by this number and it was from a prison in California but the name that came up said gtl Houston? Any how they asked me to accept a collect call from Roberto or Umberto I just hung up.
