It's not a scam. This is the system that prison inmates use to make calls. It's basically a collect call, except you pay Global Tel Link, not your phone company.
I received the same call from this number and I have done some research on it. It appears that the number originates from the afterlife. It is from the devil and if you received this call it simply means the devil is attempting to contact you. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
hi jessica,if the correctional system wants you to respond, they should tell u the name. if it's a friend or relative, u may want to help (if u know who it is and u want to). otherwise it could be some stranger trying to set u up. im pretty sure it has something to do w/ privacy issues. just my opinon. thanks! It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
