I got a call ON MY CELL PHONE at 7:30 tonight telling me that "the call was not accepted. If I wanted to put funds into my account to call 1-866 number (didn't get it)". I'm wondering if somebody is trying to get credit card information. I did not answer because I didn't recognize the number. I'll send this number to my carrier to block.
Got a call on my cell phone. They called at 10am and received 6 calls again back to back. I didn't pick up any of the calls. Left no voicemail. Since it appears to be a call from a California State Prison (as stated here by the others), I'll be blocking it via my voicemail system.
I have received multiple ( over 20 ) phone calls from this number in the past 4 days. Asking me to place money in an account to have phone calls directed to me. I do not know any one who is an inmate that would be wanting to call me. I would like my number removed from whatever list it was incorrectly place to keep getting electronic phone messages from at all hours throughout the day.
It IS NOT a scam to get your money. The call is coming from a California State Prison inmate!! If you don't have an account set up you will not hear the inmates name only the location they are at. On e you set up funds, the next time they call it will have their name.

called and then hung up, left him a kurt voicemail about wasting peoples time. scammers are prevalent, be careful and don't answer this call

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
