It's from a person who is in Jail. It's the phone system they use. You must had a family or friend in jail and they was calling you.

It's the jail phone system. you can accept the call and after you talk I think for like 3 min. it hangs up and then you can go set up an account and have money put onto the phone so the inmate can call you. The calls are high. I think it's like 3.00 when you first answer it and that money goes to the jail and then it's like 35 cents or more per min.
I received a missed call from this # with the person saying, "mom" as the name. I automatically panic because it came from a Texas area code which my mom current live, mean while I'm in Cali wondering wtf my mom did to land in jail because it actually sounded like her. After sending someone to her house to find that she is a free woman has me question the conquesidence or scam that is going to far...
I've gotten two calls in the last two hours to my cell phone from this number. A recorded woman's voice says the call is from an inmate at the "North County Correctional Facility". I have no idea where than even is! The recording then says the call is from... and then I guess the inmate has a chance to record his/her name. The first time this just gave static, and on the second call I could hear a guy saying "Justin". I don't know anyone named Justin or anyone in jail, so I'm not going to answer!

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
