Same thing happened to me. Just called my bank to cancel my credit card and reverse the transaction.BEWARE!
I did receive a call from the same number last night and they left a recording.This morning I received another call from the blocked number and it was a recoring to call Gloabl Tel Link which is a real website, BUT they have a different contact number.The phone number that is listed on the recording is 866-230-7761, which is the FRAUDULENT/SCAM number. I checked on other blogs and the people state that this 866 number is a fake and they were charged. I have reported all of this through the FBI.GOV's third party site: IC3.gov.I hope this helps.
Last night I got a call from a 713-981-0098 but I didn't answer it. They left a voicemail sayinq it wus from an inmate located it at the los angeles sherrif dep..but they didn't left no name..but from wut I'm readinq it mite b a scam but I'm not sure..
my son is detained. I do have an account with Global Tel Link . Inmates some how figure out phone numbers specially cell phones with an account. and try to make you dial some three way call to some how make you pay for the collect calls they will make. SCAM.
THIS IS MOST LIKELY A SCAM. Got a collect call from Pritchard State Prison, supposely from grandson,did not accept. Called grandson; he is not in prison, think they were after my credit card number.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
scam debt collector calling, asks to call a diff number, ignore
