This is Microsoft sending a code to your phone to verify a start-up Microsoft Cloud Account. Whoever was signing up to the Microsoft Cloud must have entered a wrong phone number (your number in error). Microsoft just uses the phone number it receives to send the automated code and waits for the number to be entered to verify the account...should be just an error and a one time deal.

I received a call ON MY CELL from 714-868-0120 asking if the village I work for has an income tax. I was instructed to call 212-461-1745 ext. 5663 with my answer. When I called the 212 number (from a land line), "Rochelle" at "Trebuchet Outsourcing Services" was not available, so I left a message stating that the village does not have an income tax. I don't know how they got my name and cell number. I think it is odd that a number calling from California would have me return a call to New York City.

After reading all the posts and seeing that everyone posted about 6 to 10 different companies of a verification code and others saying they have no idea what the code was for there is a strong possibility that those calls are intended to put some sort of spyware or adware or on your accounts to monitor and eventually attack your accounts maybe even to add to their spam messaging address list...another way to hack...hopefully im wrong and it is a legit number used by many companiea as a verification automated telephpne service for all of our sake

automated call from 'yahoo telephone service' thanking me for using service. I never heard of them not interested in any service. Suspect this is some kind of scam. I hung up.
