The DNC list doesn't apply to companies with whom you are doing business and you've given your contact information to. Lenders, banks, credit card companies with whom you have a card all have your contact information. Charities are also exempt from the DNC list. Fidelity can contact you as a shareholder...but I agree it is very irritating.

Are you surprised that they call you when you answer and verify you have a live number? If you have a fax machine, put their number on the junk fax blocker list.

I don't pick up numbers I don't know because if I truly need to speak with them they will leave me a voicemail. They've called me over 10 times and still have not left a voicemail. They just called again so I was curious if anyone knew the number. This is a little ridiculous.

I picked up my phone and then heard a ringing sound, and then someone picked up and was like, "hello?" i was so confused.

Please stop the daily nuisance calls. We will never answer you!! We have a sick child. Leave us alone !

And how much are the scammers paying you to make it appear like it isn't a scam?

Fidelity investments marketing. They won't stop after repeated requests.

I get 2 or 3 calls a week from King D. I never answer and they never leave a message. I just called the number and got a representative from D F King. They knew my full name and address and asked me to confirm I received proxy material from Fidelity. I usually pay attention to the proxy material because I know this cost shareholders money but, I must have lost the materials. I was able to vote on line over the phone and a letter will be mailed to me to confirm my vote.

Never a message but I did answer once last week and they said it was Fidelity.

Fidelity is the one that keeps calling. I'm very irritated by them calling me 3 times a day. I told them to remove me, but it didn't work. I am now going to take my investments and go elsewhere.
