medical collection agency. we owe baptist and st vincents in central arkansas.they called my job today trying to get someone to call them back and verify my employment.garnish my wages and i have no choice but to quit and go elsewhere. horrible cycle - make to much to qualify for help - but not enough to pay any bills......they did leave a ref number on this message however. fyi.

gotta love all these replies.so sigh - can you be any more condencending?whats great sigh - is i have a recording where they called my job and "faith" was rude. and my iphone shows where mscd calls on weekends and nights and holidays ;)so yes - i owe the bill. obviously i cannot pay it - see i work - in fact 2 jobs. one full and one part time. they just dont seem to be satisfied with the payments i make when i can pay them. and i am nice to these people - they just seem to surprisingly enough - have your attitude.i just make to much to qualify for help - and not enough to pay for major medical bills - ie life saving events. 4 person 1 income family....im sooooo glad you are as judgemental as you are sigh. im leering here at the computer wondering about you myself and am so glad that the world still produces such wonderful people.as my phone rings and they call again

Received a call from 731-642-8454 looking for someone who does not have or live at my phone number. Called MSCB at 1-800-887-4359 and had my number removed from their call list.

they called my job so not right

I just returned a call from this number. It is a billing company and collection company for many hospitals around the country. The lady was very nice and helpful in setting up a payment plan of small payments to get it payed off.

I have been getting calls at least once a week, but they hang up on my face when I answer. If they are trying to collect something, that is a weird way of doing so. I will just assume that this is a form of harrassment!

It is really not a hard concept to understand. They don't just randomly make up numbers, the phone numbers are given to them from the hospital that reports them to MSCB, if the number is no good they do a legal search using ss#/ and or names.. sometimes they do not get the right now. If you call it back and tel them it is the wrong number they will remove it. Don't complain that they call you repeatedly and it is a wrong number if you still haven't called them back to remove it, that is just ignorant. They are ALLOWED to call your place of employment. If you or your employer requests that they not call you, ask them to not call it. If you need to make sure that they do not call it, ask for a supervisor and they will make sure they do not call you at work. They do have an automated dialer that makes calls, if you do not want it to call you, don't keep complaining, call them and ask them to please not call you on it. They will still have real- live people call you if you owe the debt. You all need to realize they are real people doing their jobs as well, I use to work for a collection agency. I was never rude with people, I understand sometimes people get behind. I tried to help them the best I could, HOWEVER if someone does owe a debt, until that debt is paid you probably will receive calls/ letters on it. And that is out of the collection agencies hand. The collection agency works for other people, in this particular case, the hospitals. Use your heads people. It cracks me up when people say it is harassment... If you really feel it is harassment then call them and talk to a supervisor, dont get on here and complain. If they are calling you and it is a wrong number... they NEVER know until you call them and tell them, they are not psychic... just saying...

ALSO... by HIPAA law guidelines they are NOT allowed to leave messages on machines.. it is a violation of YOUR privacy.. it is for YOUR protection. It is out of their hands, so don't complain about them. Complain to HIPAA if you do not like their laws.

Don't know who this is - called back - no answer - I have no bills medical or otherwise - have put telephone number on my cellphone to be rejected.
