Just received a call from this number but the line was just open. Noone ever said anything.
Calls my pre-paid cel phone - don't know HOW they got this number. Only they don't even bother to leave a message! Harrassment!!
I have a medical/flex spending card also. Are THEY telling you you have to actually go there to pay? You should be able to send or call & pay with your card, you'll just have to send in the statement or bill or whatever they send you. Those are governed by IRS regulations, you shouldn't have to actually have to pay there.
He called me & I answered, and he said to stay on the line. I have a hospital bill from last fall that my insurance is arguing with me about, so I haven't sent any money. I can't afford to pay it without the insurance. It is from St. Vincent in Little Rock.
Makes sense.... I am in Arkansas and also have an outstanding balance with an Arkansas hospital. They never leave a message, so I never call back or answer when I see their number.
This phone number belongs to MSCB whiich is a medical bills collection agency. It appears they collect unpaid hospital bills. They have been calling my work cell phone off and on for at least nine months. They used to just put me on hold and breathe. Then they tried to find out who I am. Then they started asking if (garbled name that could be anything) was on the phone. Fortunately, I have not had the pleasure of a stay in any hospital in Tennessee, and the very recent mammogram I had was paid for entirely by my insurance. The same people used to call my same work cell from a different number. I believe they may actually be an offshoot of a local loan shark scam where they tell you a court has mandated that you have to borrow money from them to pay your debts. These guys should go to jail, but I don't have the time to bother with them. S
They called me about a payment from last october that I had not paid, but I'm a student, so my parents received the bill. I know it was paid, but the woman snapped at me and said it wasn't. I told her to contact my mother, but she said she could not do that because it is a personal matter. I told her there was no reason for them to call me and she yelled at me. Then, like the classy place they are, she hung up. Great way to harrass people.
