I saw the number and returned the call it was a recording stating they were issues and answer's a polling company. Thank goodness I work whack hours and go to school full time. I'm on the Do Not Call List whats up with that?
Woman named Melanie called and said she worked on behalf of "Issues and Answers". Immediately hung up, and now she will not stop calling.
A lady stated that she is from the US Dept. of Energy and wants to talk to someone who is most knowledgeable about staffing. I asked her is she is looking for the US staffing or globally (since we are a global company). She said "for this location". I told her she called the corporate headquarters in the state of Washington and she said "yes, for US staffing only."Seems like a strange call, and when I put her on hold, she ended up hanging up.
I got a phone call at 9:18 PM for my adult son who does not own this phone number and doesn't even reside at my address. I am sure this woman lied to me when she said she was with the University of Virginia. That is bull. The woman was rude, nasty, had a bad attitude, and needs to be stopped.I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. And it appears this is common.
This number from virginia is calling 2 to 3 times a night for the last 2 nights. Never leaves a message. Called ID just says Virginia and nothing else.
I answered the first call from them, and was told that they were conducting a poll on political issues in my area and wanted to talk to the adult over eighteen in the household with the nearest approaching birthday. I was in the middle of dinner, and when I told the woman that she hung up. Two more calls in the past forty-five minutes from the same number. The first was a hang-up, but the second time they left a voicemail -- some dude saying, "Hello? Hello? Hello?" over and over again. Honestly, I thought it was a really poorly executed April Fool's prank until I looked up the number.
