Just received a call from this number claiming they were from the United States Energy Dept and ask for the manager. Told them he was not in, and they hung up. Must be a scam. Hope tax dollars are not paying these jerks.
person(s) called several times, my family did not pick up, so I called them after the last time, and got a pre-recorded message... really annoying, especially since we only receive calls from relatives that are out of state, none of them live in VA
It's Issues and Answers doing a Market Survey. I immediately called them back saying it just left a long series of beeps but no message and she said "oh sorry, we don't leave messages"... I then told her to remove my number from her call list.
why not try this people........if you don't recognize the number why not answer the call long enough to make a connection and then hang up immediately. the company behind the calls might just be charged a fee for the long distance connection and got nothing for their effort......and please make sure to mail all your junk mail bak to the sender everytime they provide you with an envelope that requires no postage from you........Lord knows, the post office could sure use the business as they are quickly going broke........
For the last two months we have been getting these calls several times a day.I traced the number to the Virginia Beach area.We thought it was someone with a grudge.The info on this page is useful.I believe I will call the two officers of the company mentioned at odd hours; I am ofen up and about before 5 am!
Caller said she was calling on behalf of Sovereign Bank. She asks for my boss. Before I transferred her, she hung up.
