Caller hung up when I answered.

i called back, they said "Press 1 if this is the numbe ryou wish to have removed. To enter another number, press 2 now" and if you dont press anything, it just keeps repeating

Keep receiving calls for mortgage loans from Obama's spendulus plan, these relentless people keep calling. When I press 1 to talk to them, they ask for my mortgage payoff. I told them I don't know it, can I call them back, what is your phone number, they immediatly hang up. Got 3 calls in the last 2 days from them. I am on my way now to get a hand-held horn (for a boat) and gonna fix them up next time they call. These are the #'s I get on my caller ID:757-990-8981904-555-0000

mine was just a whole bunch of static. tried to call it back but it said it was disconnected. i got the call about 10 minutes ago on the house phone. i am registered for the do not call list on all of my phones and i still get some of these sometimes. isn't that registry supposed to prevent that?

Smae thing happened to me an indian speaking automated voice which is hard for me to understand said the same thing. press 1 to be removed. thanks for posting this info

Keep getting these calls, 10 minutes apart. Call this # below, and ask to speak to "Scott" who apparently is the manager for telemarketing calls. I was slightly concerned this might be something important...now I know not to worry or bother with answering these calls. Thanks everyone for posting your experiences!

This time it was from Satellite TV with a free DVR - and they would NOT take my phone off the list when I asked them to.
