They called and i said hellothen really loud metal music stared to play.after a min or so i hung up

Received two calls today from this 757-990-8981 with a caller id of "Sales Dept" adn played along with the caller by pressing 1. When he asked for my credit card number I said, "Woah, you asked for my credit card number without my even knowing who you are and who is calling?" To which he game me the company name of AMS Planning, and a web address of www.amsplanning.com. I looked them up, and they are AMS Financial, 2425 E. Springfield St., Spokane, WA 99202, with a toll free number of 866-404-2858. I called them, and spoke with a very snotty receptionist then a young man who admitted the call center at 8022 Office Court #100, Orlando, FL 32808, toll free 888-512-6911 is a branch of their company and makes these annoying calls. I asked him to take me off their call list or I would be filing an action in Arizona for harassment, to which he was deeply apologetic, and promised to make sure I was removed from their call list. No, they did not offer me a bridge, or ocean front property in Arizona for sale, maybe that's next. BUT NOW WE KNOW WHO IS BEHIND THESE CALLS - THEY ADMITTED IT TO ME!

Why it the world would I even sign up on the do not call list..This is ridiculous

static on the line, could not understand anything that was being said, although it was evident that there was something being said.

Credit card help. I hung up and dialed *69, (last number called), and the voice said "your number has been removed"

You need to check your and your spouse's credit report ASAP. Make sure that everything is in order. They may have gotten credit in your names.

This is an invalid phone number. I tried calling it back (as suggested below) and it will NOT go through!

Caller ID said Sales Dept. so I naturally waited for someone to say something; no one did, so, as is my practice, I didn't pick up.

I have an air horn for phone calls like this. Works every time. Calls are almost non existant now! Yeah me :)

That number just called me on my cell. The canned message was garbled so I couldn't even hear who they promoted to be, nor who to contact them. :(
