This number JUST called me at my place of business on the work phone line. Asking if I liked pie. They hung up. Called back again and I let it ring even though I'm supposed to answer all calls. They left a message (there was 2 of them at least on the message) asking for tickets to something. The sounded like they had a voice changer. I'm really scared right now honestly...

This is an unwanted call. It is a scam.

I just received a call from this number. I answered, but nobody responded, just dead air. If it was someone using Google Gmail.

a guy in a social site which I belong called me. he says he is in Barrie, Ont he is divorcing his wife, the wife lives in NewFounland, he lives in Barrie got a condo across the lake etc etc. I live in Victoria BC Somebody needs to get in touch with the authorities as he and Im sure others are trying to get info from people to scam them for money. this is very dangerous.

two phone call

i got a call from this number and I own a business. the person didn't speak very good english but wanted a subscription. It was 7:30 at night and he said good morning. I thought he was just a drunk.

Oh, I can see this is going to be a problem. Every hacker in the world will be using this number to annoy people. I wonder what controls Gmail has in place to stop this sort of thing?I tried it and it works. I can call my cell phone from my computer. I had to hook up a USB microphone to the computer and select it as the default recording device. Free calls to US telephones. Nice low rates to other countries.

If you have gvoice from google on your computer and have not registered for your own gvoice #, THIS is the # that is provided to you. You can only use it to call out. If you call the #, it will tell you the call cannot be completed. When I get an unrecognized phone # on my cell, I won't answer the phone but I'll wait a little while and I'll use 760-705-8888 to call them back just to see who they are. I don't know where everyone is getting the idea this # is definitely from someone the call receiver knows. It's just an unregistered gvoice #. Once you register for your personal gvoice #, you no longer use 760-705-8888 to call out.

The person responsible for these calls is Chris J. Perron from Boston. He's some kind of hacker who goes after peoples' server data. He called us talking about hackers and school servers and some other things that I don't know what he was talking about, then he asked us to type an address into our internet browser, that linked us to a site that loads on your computer with nasty gay porno and viruses and spyware. Do not type in the address he tells you to put in!
