I got a call two nights ago. I did punch in to get a CS rep to tell him/her to 'take our name off your list'. When the person answered and I asked him to do that, his reply--- "F.U. you AH"!!!!!!' How nice!!! We called the number back and got the Verizon recording that the 'person is not available'. The next day I received another similar call with a different 'cell phone number from Miami' (786-567-3102). When I punched into speak to a CS rep and was put on hold -my husband was listening in on the other line-I said to hubby: "Let's play along and see what this is about"--well they may have been actually listening to us--the call was then disconnected!!! We, again, called the number back and got the same Verizon recording. These come up as cell phone numbers. Wonder if they can be traced???Jackie: The 'Do Not Call Lists' are for 800 numbers. These idiots are going around that by using NON 800 numbers. :(

Harassment via the cell phone! Is there no way to get rid of these annoyance calls? Same story as all the othe posts...got hung up on. I intend to do something about this monday July 11, 2011. I will get to the bottom of this. Certainly there must be laws pertaining to phone harassment? What a pain in the [***]!

I called Verizon Wireless and they stated it's not an assigned number that they current have although it states Verizon Wireless when you call the number yourself and there isn't much they can do at this time other than blocking the number which might cost a person some money.These people call my parents landline number at least 4-5 times a day.I called my phone carrier and they stated the Do not call lists doesn't exclude other non-800 numbers such as they low life scammers.They just started calling my cell phone today. Oh great!!

The complete jerks are robo calling me about credit card offer. What jerks. We are on the national do not call list. How do companies like this get away with it?

I just got a call from this number - I do not answer unfamiliar numbers especially since someone tried to hack into my Chase Credit Card for $2,000.00 - thank goodness Chase was on top of it and blocked it!

Same thing happened to me. So much for the "do not call cell phone list." Sheesh!Thanks to everyone for letting me know that you've been getting calls from this number too.Irritated in Pittsburgh
