August 22,in the AM received a call from this (770) 783-5969 number, left a call on my answering machine saying, "You must confirm some information to receiveyour loan proceeds, which can be deposited in your bank account in 48 hours. again urgent to press zero now" a female recorded voice came on saying or call (700) 783-5969.
They leave me taped messages to "confirm a loan". I am on the DNC list - they have left these day after day.
it was a recording , for a loan approvement , called back - and it is at and T NOT working number
i'm tired of this crap from telemarketers..........I'm getting calls from verious phone numbers...what can we all do?
I called them back and got taken off the list (supposedly) and then they tried to offer me a credit card, $100 gas card and a $10,000 loan. Sounds like a scam to me. Can you report this type of thing to the BBB?
Caller left a message on the answering machine and indicated I had been approved for a loan, I have NOT applied for any loans! Caller ID indicated "Don't Answer"
About approved loans that I don't have any idea. They sounded as if they have known me for a long time.I think these people are picking up our number from white pages dot com. I never had this problem until I changed my telephone carrier to verizon. People that I don't even heard from for ages were calling me now. I asked them to where did they find my number and all of claimed that they found it at white pages dot com. This insane, because I am literally paying for extra just to keep my phone number private. Folks, you should go to white pages dot com and have your number take out of their listings. Sometimes, it would take several attempt, before your number can actually disappeared. I hope my suspicion is not right that our telephone company have betrayed us, by selling our numbers to the second party.We should keep on bugging white pages dot com for posting our numbers without our permission.
At 12:32 PM EST, I received a phone call. I had recently purchased a set of cordless phones with an extension. I looked at the caller ID and it had this number and the text DO NOT ANSWER. I listened to the message and it was a male voice asking me to press 0 to confirm my eligibility for a loan or to call this number back.
