caller ID says anwer d

Anyone bother to call the Consumer Fraud Div of their State Attorney Office> I did this morning.the voice now is a computer and they ask for you Bank Checking routing code and checking number.With that, they can empty your checking account number.

How can we STOP these " evasive annoying people" that have Nothing better to do than harass us with nonsense from calling us. And don't you think when a message says "don't answer" that something is phoney?..............someone respond

770-783-5969. I checked my caller Id and saw this number and wondered why it showed up as Don't Answer. When i called it back out of curiousity nothing happened. I've been reading alot of comments on this site also nocallerid.com,800notes.com, whocallsme.com and everyone has been saying the same thing. Noticed that the reporting of these calls started around june. One person was given their email address by the caller saying that they applied for a loan online. Does anyone on here use yahoo? I'm just trying to put two and two together. It's a scam by people with a middle eastern accent and a atlanta phone number. Does that make sense? No because somehow they hack your personal information over the net from overseas and harrasses you or try to get your personal information when they call. Using modern technology with the right equipment they can pick a number and make up their own caller id display leaving them untracable...so they think...

The caller id on my phone said "answer" and had a little picture of a phone. But I did the opposite......

I received a call from this number, 770-783-5969 yesterday (Sun 8/24) on my cell phone. Luckily I didn't hear my phone ring but it did leave a message on my voice mail. I only caught part of it - something about an approval on my auto loan. My cell phone number is on the "Do Not Call" list.

I received an call from that DONT ANSWER number too. I seen that [***] on my caller ID and was like wtf?? because I have never gotten a call that actually had DONT ANSWER on the caller ID! I'm so SICK of these damn people calling my [***] phone that I'm about ready to hop my [***] on a plane and hunt the [***] company down thats doing this stupid [***]!

When I called the # back it was a recording that said my name & said that I was approved for a loan of up to $1500. WOW that is scary. Do other people hear my name when they call the same # ?

Just wait until these a-holes start calling the politicians and telephone execs at home, then you'll see something get done. Until then it's your problem.

Think about it. If you use a computer and a list of 100,000 phone numbers, what are the odds that someone is NOT going to fall for it?Their automated calling system even gives them an air of legitimacy that can fool a few unsuspecting folks (who probably don't have computers and aren't posting on any websites about calls they get)
