Called twice today and when I answer there is a click and then a ring tone, like I called this number!!What kind of scam is this???My caller ID just says FL and the number.Getting sick of this. When I call it back I get a recording from medco. apparently this is to automatically refill prescriptions, but I don't have any prescriptions that I use on a daily basis .Must be another way the drug companies and drs. can keep us on their dealy drugs! no thanks!!

I get these phone calls as well. They are constantly calling my cell phone and don't ever leave a message. Fortunately for me, they call while I am at work and I miss the call. I work for OfficeMax and we have Blue Cross Blue Shield for insurance. Medco is our prescription drug plan. We were told that starting 01/11 we have to get our prescriptions through them by mail if it is a maintenance drug. We would have to pay $ 10 copay if we decided to not go the mail route. My husband is on blood pressure pills which we can get at K-Mart and WalMart for $4 dollars, so we simply pay the $4 and don't use Medco. Why use them and pay $6 extra?

Getting calls from this number at least twice a day for a week now, no message. Tried to call number back, all I get is a busy signal....Medco or not..... really wish they would F*** Off and get a life.

They are calling me 6-8 times a day and when I answer, no one is there. This is VERY frustrating.

My company requires that I go through Medco. I pay cash locally for my blood pressure medication rather than deal with them. They still call, though.

They keep calling no message is left and no one answers when I answer the call! It is making me crazy! They cal 3-4 times a day! This has been going on for weeks!!!

This number is to Medco. It is the company that provides our prescription service. They might just be calling to see if you want to have regular refills done by mail with a 3 months supply - saves money and time. That is what they called me for anyway.

I receive calls several times a week from this number that shows up as Medco Pharmacy on my caller ID. I usually don't answer the phone when this number appears and they never leave a message. Last night I decided to answer and like some of the comments above, there is a lull between my saying "hello" and someone responding.They began the conversation saying they were calling on behalf of my employer - whom they named. I work for a national bank and I also work in compliance. I know for a fact that my employer would never have a third party call me about my pharmaceutical use! They asked me to verify my date of birth and address. I told them that my employer would never contract out to a third party for this information and that they (my employer) already had this information (obviously).I then told them they are suspect because they never leave messages and to stop calling me. I have since notified the Fraud Dept of my employer to give them the heads up in case other employees are receiving these types of calls.

Medco is the scum of the earth!If you're ever unfortunate to have your insurance company contract with Medco you will be harrassed to death. Several years ago there was a class-action lawsuit against Medco and the company lost.It doesn't matter how much they promise to save you if the medicine doesn't arrive as promised or they send the wrong meds.If you're smart, you'll stay as far away as you can from Medco!
