I attended a banquet and AGM for the CMHA a few days ago and met Moe.I volunteer so I expected to meet this doctor or professor because he is the current president. When i googled him I found my way to this site and many more warnings about him and his companies.I guess he started as a realtor because before Cedar Publishing there was Cedar Realty.I was very confused because he bothers to list his only credential as graduating from Queen E High School.He gave me an award which I was very conflicted about accepting in the first place because I had never met him and so thought why am I recieving this from someone who doesn;t even know me. It was a very long day and regret not listening to my instincts because it only turned out to be a photo op in order to salvage his name and reputation. I am seriously considering returning the award. I wonder how bad a kick in the nuts that would be for him? Thought I'd let you guys know so that you can see that karma is still a [***] and that all your words were wothwhile.Thanks for the heads up.If you are reading Moe: I got more education than you and don't need to be acknowleged by a greasy slimeball like you.Thanks but no thanks.

Hi there,I had the same problem as everyone else. I actually called my local MP in Guelph and Child Find in Alberta. Child Find has their own issue with them as well and absolutely no affiliation. I am now working out of the country but if you would like to contact me for more information I am sure I can sign an affidavit and mail it in or something. I would like to help your case. They are just awful and they prey on small business', I thought of taking ads out in Guelph to warn everyone but reported it to the BBB and my MP. I will give you my 'not so important email' it is tes-sa@hotmail.com...once we chat I will give you my personal business email. Just worried about putting it down here.

(780)701-3719 number today (Oct 1/12) came up "Armour GRP", for those screening these calls. Used to be L Berkely, which someone else noted earlier.

Under the Fair Trading Act, they can not bill you unless there is a signed contract. I have no signed contract and they billed me. It is a BIg SCAM! Child Fund Manitoba says it has not affiliation with them even though they claim so.

I don't know if it is the same outfit, but I received several calls from (780)701-3718 today. When I asked them to identify who they were they did not but went into their pitch. I told them to send me a letter. The name on the call display is: CCM CPC. I wanted to know who they were, so typed that into my browser and found this page. For what it's worth, I "suspect" it is the same company.

Had yet another call from 'CSI News' today trying to get advertising dollars for my computer business.Back in Sept '08 I was stupid enough to advertise with them and apart from the 'proof' copy of the magazine I had been sent, and after all of their "we go out free to 1000's of organizations', I have never seen a copy of their magazine.That first time, they had claimed they did not get a cheque that I sent to pay for the advert, and they did get very shirty about it. I sent them a 2nd check and cancelled the first but it left a bitter taste on my mouth.After that experience, even if they were a legit organization, I would not have dealt with them anyways but since I have heard all the bad press about them and the article about Edmonton Police not being happy with them for claiming an association with them when in fact, there was none.So today I have another call from a very cocky person giving me the whole sales pitch and asking me to re-advertise. When I said I wasnt interested, he started to get rude, obnoxious, and generally nasty. When I started to give him a piece of my mind back, he hung up.With other reports I have heard where you start to get threats about adverts not being paid for, I am in two minds weather to contact the police or not to report it and cover my back.Either way, avoid these people.
