HA HA HA! WHEN WE CONTATED THEM ANS ASKED MANY QUESTIONS THEY DISCONECTED.WE HAVE TO REPORT THIS NUMBER. THEY SENT A LETTER WITH MY FULL CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND ASKED TO CONTACT THEM IMMEDIATELY. NEVER GIVE US ANY INDICATION WHERE THEY ARE PHISICALLY LOCATED. [***]!

Called Capitol One's customer svc line & was initially told it was not one of their numbers. But, the rep transferred me to a senior person who told me it in fact is valid.

This really is a Capital One fraud department number... Like it or not...

It is a number for capitalone card fraud dept.I believe, bank outsources customer care to foreign countries andyou will most likely talk to a person with foreign accent.But for sure it is legit number

It is definitely Capital One fraud department. I have been dealing with their horrifying customer service for six months now. Stolen credit cards are not easy to resolve with them.

call from 1-888-618-8906just talked to capital one -- main menu. they say this is nota valid number with their fraud dept. read a bunch of the abovecomments. who to believe?

Who to believe?!? I have had numerous dealings with Capital One about a fraud card. I think this number is legit because they gave it to me as a return number from a call I made to them. We shall see the results!

i got the call from 18002151921 and when i called back got voicemail that asked me to leave a detailed message including my credit card number... RED FLAG!!! i just called capital one. it is NOT their number. those of you saying it is are probably part of the scam!!! capital one's real fraud number is 18002397054. call the number on the back of your card and get transferred to the fraud dep't. 18002397054 is the number they give you.

Voicemail claiming to be from Capital One Fraud department.Message said it was Gary from the Capital One Fraud department and to call them back at 1-800-215-1921 extension 2913794I did not call them back. Instead, I called the number on the back of my card. Capitla One confirmed that this is NOT a Capital One number.The real Capital One Fraud department number is 1-800-427-9428.

This number came up on my caller ID. I called it back, and it Is a Capital One Fraud protection number.. I just went through with a thing with them about credit card fraud. It's really a number for them. As I was speaking with the representative, I had my account with Capital One pulled up on my computer. She verified some information from me. At the end of our conversation, she told me the issue was resolved and activated my new credit card. I refreshed my Capital One screen on the computer and it reflected the changes the woman on the phone and I had discussed. That being said..... it's a real number, not the main number listed for Fraud Protection, but real non the less. Hope this helps.
