these jerks called my grandparents saying that it was a recorded line and that they were only willing to talk to my grandpa about the matter. The person on the other line was unwilling to give me more details as to what they were calling about and asked to speak to his wife (my grandma) again... Then the lady started to harass my grandma asking for my grandma's personal information. The lady kept repeating that the business was... "Impact"??? I have never even heard of this business associated with my grandparents.

People are getting calls for bills they don't owe. How difficult is that for you to understand---SHILL?

The reason they ask for your DOB, SSN, Address, ETC is to verify HIPAA. If you call on an account they need to verify who they are speaking with. YES they have your information on file (from the hospital they are billing for) but it has to be verified. NPAS is also not a collection agency, they are an early out vendor owned by HCA/Parallon (simple GOOGLE.Com search) that does not report to a credit agency like NCO.

I got a phone call from this number and the number on the caller ID wasn't even a ten digit or a 1-800 number. It was 6 numbers. The voicemail said I needed to call back a hospital which I had never heard of. I called back and chose the option to speak with a representative and when it switched over, it hung up automatically.

This # has called my cell phone everyday for 5 days and never leaves a message. Its very annoying that when I answer they hang up on me. UGH

I received multiple phone calls to my cell phone from this company that is supposedly associated with insurance companies. My insurance policy covered my daughter's 3 hour ER trip and yet, the insurance company covered the costs for her transport and the hospital visit. However, this company knows your name someway or another and claims that they need you to clarify your personal information including the last four digits of your social security number. I told them that I gave the information the insurance company and I would not give my information over the phone due to potential fraud. The lady then responded, "Oh, we have your information here." I told her, "Then you need anything more from me" followed by hanging up. Pretty, much since my recontact with this company after work, I haven't received another call. They appear to be extremely fraudulent and individuals should not give their information out over the phone or for whatever reason they push for.
