I received a call saying they were from ADT and they were receiving a trouble signal. I don't have ADT service. The also said that they were trying to reach a Matthew McHill. Obviosly not me. You would think that as a security service, they would have their numbers straight.

Called early in the morning.

I was charged over $3 to my pre-paid account and my battery was almost depleted. Who has been calling me from this number and WHY?

Exactly. Just happened to me I didn't remember to shut off the alarm when I got home and opened the garage door that's monitored. Talked awhile to a neighbor, cop came by and checked things out. Got a call on home phone and my cell. Good service.

This is ADT and they call to let you know when your alarm is going off... its best to answer that call if you have ADT services...

called in response to someone's broken window. I asked what name they have on account as I don't use their company for my security system, and gave me a name of a woman I've never heard of. TOld them they dialed the number she gave them , but I haven't heard of her and you need to have her give you correct contact # , especially for an emergency like this!

Thats ADT, was called by their security today to say that they normally do a monthly check on the systems to make sure the home system is communicating with their center.Got called today and said that my system's monthly report came back as an error and she wanted me to intentionally set off the alarm and see if it alerted their monitoring system. Asked for my name and our password and stayed on the phone with me the whole time to make sure their system picked up our alarm being set off. Assured me that she set it as a test so the police wouldn't come out and charge me with a false alarm being set off.Anyways, did as I was asked to do and told my system was working just fine and they wanted to call to make sure that our system was able to alert their monitoring service just in case it ever went off for real.I didn't even know that they did a remote test on it monthly. Very nice to see a security service on top of their game.

I received a call from this number at 12:05am Labor Day. It went to voice mail. When I retrieved the voice mail I couldn't understand the message. I thought it said something about a bank and the person did state my name but I don't have a clue as to why my number was called. When I tried to replay the message it had already been wiped from the vm. Figured it was some kind of scam. Still do.

Okay. Seems my sister's smoke alarm battery was out and ADT called everyone on her list. She received three messages and she couldn't understand any of them. At least it wasn't a scam but you think ADT would verse their people in proper phone etiquette. I don't care which side of the ocean you are on.
