Call from Scotiabank weeks ago. Told them I was not interested and to remove my name from their list. I'm still getting calls that are going straight to my call-block. Will probably have to call Scotiabank.
We were called several times by this # I called back and it was from Scotia Bank promotional centre. They had no explanation as to why they do not talk or leave a message
Same thing here. Called twice within a half hour, no response when I said hello, so I hung up.
I have been receiving calls from the number 800-240-1627...Dead air when you answer and they leave no messages. Really annoying. They got both cell and home numbers. I am going to have to block now.
They claim to be from Scotiabank and even have a name. Talked to the bank and it is a phishing scam. Bank says they -do not- call people.Sent to my call block on my Panasonic phone.They call every other day, but I have my Panasonic phone set to not ring on a call block.
I keep getting these calls too. I now have an account and credit card from another bank. I told the new bank why I was switching banks and If they became a nuisance I would go elsewhere. I then went to Scotia Bank and demanded to see the manager, there is no point talking to a flunkie, they don't care ... and you're leaving anyway so you might as well get up front and personal with the manager. Give him the 1-800 number and any names you may have as well as the number of annoying calls. Cut up your credit card in front of him and get all the money from your account. If enough people do that, they will stop annoying you and others. I also did this to a Ford dealer who kept telling me my car was due for service when it wasn't. I haven't been back for 3 years.JW

I have received a call from above phone number 2 days in a row. They never leave a message. I try not to pick up calls I don’t recognize
This number is contacting me via text claiming that they are from Apple and that there is a problem with my account. 99.9% sure this is a scam. Be aware.
