They are operating under a website call ZYE Technologies and trying to sell Lifetime APPLE Care Virus Protection.They push real hard for banking information. According to Apple, there is not an APPLe Care Virus protection productfor vintage computers, older than 5+ years.
I got 3 calls since this morning at my office number.called ID showed Apple Comp Svswhen I answered the call, they hung on meso I called back, automated systems said : Apple Carethat's it and the call was cut offwhile I am writing this... I got 4th call and they hung up as soon I answered.
I legitimately called this # from the Apple Website to help me re-set up my iPhone The technician was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I would have no problem having them call me or calling them again should the need arise
This number has been compromised. It says it is from Apple, but the number has been spoofed as the automated caller is informing you of an I Cloud security alert. This is a scam. The scammers have now used a legitimate Apple number to get around call blocking. I called Apple and they told me to block the number.
