Auto message stating my Apple/iPhone could be compromised and something about my Cloud account having been hacked. I have only had Android phones and Windows on my computers, never Apple, and I've never done anything on any Cloud. Hung up part way through and blocked them immediately. Btw I'm on the Do Not Call registry.

Apple Support number is being spoofed. Shows call ID as Apple # but is not. They say iCloud account was breached and not to use your computer. SCAM beware

They tried to purchase $100 iTunes cards from my Costco account. This is what happens when you give them to much information. When I received an email from Costco that said the order was refused I got on the ph to Costco verified what happened then called my bank and cancelled my account.They told me to leave my computer on with them in control and not to hang up my Phone which would have left me connected with them and they in total control. He gave me an hour to get 5 $100 iTunes cards and when I get back home type “I am back” at which point I was suppose to give them all the numbers on the card (ya right) so first thing I did was hang up and BAM phone rings and it’s them I did not answer I then turned off the computer - I just hit the no/off button - and BAM phone rings — yep it’s them so I blocked them.I got very lucky on this.IF YOU GET CALLED BY THESE PEOPLE DO NOT ANSWER unless you want to mess with them.

WOW. Please don't give them this much time. Just hang up.(I usually cuss them out first, but try not to.) :(I just heard the word "apple", and hung up. I don't have an apple computer. These thieves are out to scam anyone they can get their mitts on! They go after the elderly, hoping to get a 'hot one'. CRIMINALS, for sure. I can' t understand why ANYONE would mark this call legit, unless they went for the scam. :(

Apple will not initiate the phone call. Scammers are spooling this number saying your iCloud or another account has been hacked by people from Russia or other countries. They want you to log into your computer and basically they will steal your identity. Do not call or talk to them. You initiate the call to Apple always. As I said, and Apple confirmed it, Apple will not initiate a call to you.

Nimrod Thanks for the advise and I will take it in. I have all ready changed all passwords.MHG they told me my iCloud was hacked from apple —- bottom line here is I screwed up and it won’t happen again. I’m very lucky.

Rec d 2 land line phone messages, they said my iCloud had been breached. To call AppleCare.I called AppleCare. They said they would never call, not to give any info to anyone.

Pretty sure this is a scam. I asked the guy to log off my Mac several times and he wouldn't saying the I can't blame Apple if my Mac collapses. He even got angry with me for questioning.

SCAM! Called twice and left voicemail to call back a different number. Caller ID said AppleCare. Guess what? I have never owned an apple product. They have no need to contact me.

This is a [***] scam. Threaten to go to apple and they'll threaten to turn off your phone on the spot.
