Yes it is the Apple call in number, but Apple just told me they would never call me from that number - so it is a spoof scammer impersonating Apple - BEWARE!!!

Like others here, I've received several calls from this number over the past couple of days. I don't pick up and the robo-message says they are Apple Support and my iCloud account has been breached. Press 1 for Support.Gee, seems really legit except for the fact that I don't have any Apple products, don't have an iCloud account, and I highly doubt even if I did and there was a problem that Apple would be calling people to notify them.Guess after all the years of bogus calls saying that there was a problem with 'your Windows account' these scammers decided to branch out and include Mac users. It's nice to see they don't discriminate.

Called my mothers line on a Sat night at 7pm asking her personal questions such like acct #; ss# etc. I tried calling right back & they would not tell me why they are calling elderly people. Seems like some sort of a scam. My mother doesn’t even use an Apple ID.

Called...left no message...BLOCKED!!!!!!

I received a call from this number. The caller stated he was calling about an apple i-cloud account. I asked him who he was trying to call. He refused to answer my question, then he called me an [***] hole and hung up. It might be recorded on his end.

Okay it leaves a message that I only get part of about a security breach. I do not own anything Apple related. I did have an iTunes account 5 or more years ago. They only call once a day and I haven't been here to answer. Legitimate?

Robo call about my apple account being blocked, press 1 to speak to a rep. A man with an indian accent came on the line, I told him I didn't have an apple account (which I don't), he said it was about my email, I said I don't use email, he said it was about my phone number ... I told him I didn't have a phone and hung up, Losers ....

I got the same call and voicemail from 209-421-0839I called and they asked me to get to a computer right away or my iCloud account would have to be turned off because of suspicious activity. I was d (thank goodness ) and told them because I could not verify they indeed were from the Apple company I was not going to follow through on their instructions. I hung up. They call back from 800-275-2273 and said look up this 800 number on google and you will know we are from the apple company. I hung up.Call type: Scam suspicion

Received an automated voicemail message from this number directing me to call a different number 844-857-0333 before using any of my Apple devices. Thanks, but no thanks.

That is a fake Apple #. Scammers.
