I received a call from this number for the first time earlier today. As usual, no message was left. After reading the numerous postings here, I decided to do something I don't usually do when receiving a call from strange number. I called the number back. I was greeted with a human voice which said "thank you for calling client services inc. your call may be recorded. this is katy. how can i help you?". the call was then terminated. I did some research online, and I found a company named Client Services Inc.. The following is a description on their hom page (Based in the Heart Land of America, Client Services remains the nation’s premier debt collection agency and call center corporation servicing some of our nation’s largest fortune 500 companies.) There are many agencies like this one. If any of these agencies call on behalf of a creditor, and do not specifically identify the creditor, they get no call back, especially if no voice message is left.

I keep getting call from this number, but they never leave a message... they need to STOP.

I received a call from this number asking if I'd pass a message to my neighbor (and named her). I asked him who he was and he said Client Services. I told him I was appalled that he would call me looking for my neighbor and told him he should never call me again. He said, "okay. So will you give your neighbor a message for me?" I said, "NO" and hung up. I cannot believe these people are for real. Who the heck goes to their neighbor (unless they hate them) and tells them, "hey, the debt collection agency wants you to call them back." I'm still in disbelief!

I have read all of these posts and one thing that has been totally ignored is the fact that many of these people being called have lost their job at no fault of their own. With the economy in the toilet and Washington having no clue as to how to get us out of this mess… It is only going to get worse. Once Washington gets their act together and starts addressing the JOB issue and people get back to work they will pay their debts. Just remember(CSI) these are people you are calling, who want nothing more than a good paying job so they can get their life back together. Be respectful. Be courteous, be understanding. I am not sure if those are addressed in your training. So far I would say they are NOT.

I received a call from UNKNOWN this evening 10-25-10 from a male who identified himself as Jeremy Rudin and stated that he was trying to reach my neighbor. I wrote down his name and number 1-800-521-3236 Extension 54636. I thought it was strange that this person is trying to contact my neighbor through me, even if it is a legit debt. Sounds like it should be illegal to me.

Got a letter from Client Services Inc. After being informed of www.thezeitgeistmovement.com, I understand what is happening to so many people at the same time! Check out the website and boycott Citibank, Chase and Bank of America. These banks already got their paybacks from the government (me) and golden parachutes! Okay, my credit is finished BUT I get to keep the house! Let's just call it even!

Caller said he is from a federally regulated company and needed to discuss an urgent matter with my daughter. He refused to say what company he is from and refused to tell me what the "matter" was.His caller ID was636-947-2321, but asked for a return call on 800-521-3236.He admitted he calls family members regularly to find who he needs. I suspect a debt collector.
