We always get this phone call....I always hang up. So sad how they amounted to nothing in life so they feel the need to take away money from people who actually work.
They claim to be "Wells Fargo Credit Card Services". Strange why they called because I don't have credit cads with Wells Fargo.
They are a total scam; they do not work for Wells Fargo but claim they are "affiliated" with the bank. Right.
This is the customer service number listed for Wells Fargo credit card customers on their official website. But the number could be spoofed meaning that this is not the real number that is calling. If you are a Wells Fargo credit card holder call them back or email them and ask if they have contacted you. If you do not have a Wells Fargo card then it is either a wrong number or someone is trying to scam you. Be careful what you do and say; it WILL be held against you!
I get multiple calls from this number on a regular basis. Hate it!!! Don't answer it
This number called my moms private number. Hung up before answering my mothers hello. Don't trust those type of calls.
This is a real number for Wells Fargo credit card services. You can stop the calls by going online to the Wells Fargo website then hit Acct Services and then Privacy and change your settings to not accept phone calls. Email them also and express your displeasure re unwanted phone calls. I tell every company I do business with that I consider any phone calls from them an invasion of privacy even if they are exempt from the No-call list. Make these F-ers stop calling by demanding they stop. You have to do it in writing or email. Dont let companies take advantage of loopholes in the No-call law in order to harass you. Fight back and cost them a lot of money!
I was tired at the moment and listened in, thinking the call might have been related to a large purchase I had just made. He offered me the "preferred customer program" and a $100 card, so I stupidly agreed, thinking I would just cancel it then. The only things he got out of me though was my birthplace and confirmed my name, all information that he could have found freely since he had my phone number already. He didn't attempt to get anything else, which confuses me. Realized immediately after the call that it was all fake, and tried calling the number that he gave me to cancel the program, which of course isn't actually a number.Protip: don't talk to scammers while tired
Got a call from 1-800-642-4720, from a man who claimed to be with Wells Fargo. He asked to speak to my ex-husb. who does not live at this address. I thought it strange, since the bank knows we have separate accounts and separate addresses and phone numbers. When I questioned the caller he hurriedly said, "If you have any questions, please call 1-800-xxx, unclearly and too quickly to be able to write it down, when I asked him to repeat the number he hung up. When I called the number back using caller ID, it wouldn't accept an incoming call.
A man by the name of Rod Mills called me from Wells Fargo. I have mortgage account through Wells Fargo and years ago had another account through them. I do not use a Wells Fargo credit card. He said they were sending me a new credit card with no interest for a certain amount of time. I have never received this card.Again, I do not use a Wells Fargo credit card. If there has been one used recently, please look into this.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
