On 01/27/17@approx.3:13pm, I received a call from +1 (800) 847-2911; I was busy & didn't answer my phone, and they never left a msg. Before I returned their call, I did a search, first and found this site, read all the entries. I have had similar calls from various other numbers & already encountered ID Theft, so happy I searched the number before returning the call.

I've ignored repeated calls from 800 847 2911 to my cell phone. Never leaves a message. Thanks for providing this site to report such calls.

Didn't answer calls because of all he publicity about scam calls lately. Googled the number and found that I was right. Said it was my last opportunity to lower credit card rates. I don't carry credit card debt.

Total scam. After I asked if they had my infor, since they were calling ME and I wouldn't give them it, he hung up on me. Asked to speak with a supervisor twice. It was the same woman, made her voice deeper but then it slowly changed as the convo went on. I asked how she knew my number and she asked if I applied for a stolen card back track. I told her I knew this was a scam and she told me some people are hacking my account. 'Visa' security is too broad. Do not give your info out to these people! Remember.... they called YOU about it so they should have the info in front of them. Card companies don't do that. Don't be stupid. Call and ask for a supervisor. Scare these people and waste their time so it's not harming anyone !!!

Called my cell 12:25 p.m. PST 2/2/17. I didn't pick up; left no message. Now blocked, thanks to comments above.

Got a call from 800-847-2911. All it was was a recording with every language avail. No message. Annoying.

Scampers. I asked them what credit card company they where working with. The response was "mastercard and visa" so I asked them again what credit card company, the response was the same. I then told them "interesting I don't have and mastercard or visa accounts, how are you going to help me lower my interest rates with discover" the reply was "go f*** yourself" then they hung up

Nothing but a SCAM. When I finally reached someone and asked how they got my unlisted number, they told me they get all their call numbers right off the govt "do not call list"......
