they call every single day about lowering my interest rate on Credit Card. When I ask to remove from call list, they just hang up.
This is defiantly a scam. I get at least 3 phone calls a week offering to lower the interest rates on my credit cards which is pretty funny........considering I don't have any. I told "Jon" this and he told me he didn't appreciate being lied to. He then asked me why I was wasting his time. I said I'm not you called me. He said oh ya I guess I did and hung up. This is defiantly NOT a legitimate business.
Yup. I got a call from 800-847-2911 and I was ready for them this time. I had recorded a "sound bite" from the movie TAKEN with Liam Neeson where he says "I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want........... but I will find you........".I played it over the phone to the East Indian telemarketer. When it was over I could hear that he was still on the line so I hung up. I laughed and laughed. No need to get angry - that only hurts yourself. Have some fun.
I receive at least one phone call a day, sometimes the call registers as coming from our phone no. this is definitly harassing phone calls. whne I ask them to please stop calling they just hang up. and call back later.
My caller ID showed my own number. Weird. The guy said he was from Visa/MasterCard and wanted to lower my interest rate. Wanted to know if my balance was over 4k. After I asked a few questions, I felt really uncomfortable and asked for HIS number to contact him back and he gave me 1800 VISA 911, and I said ok I'll call you back. Googled "1800 VISA 911 lower Interest rate" and its a total scam. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION.
