I checked online with the Better Business Bureau www.newyork.bbb.org. The company is DEBT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS LLC, and they have tons of complaints! By the way, it is located at 900 Merchants Concourse Ste. 106, Westbury, NY 11590, tel/fax # (516) 228-7100, Donald Schwartz, COO Managing Member.One suggestion is to "do unto others..." call and hang-up, or call and be rude and hang up. Today is Saturday and since 9am I have received three calls (one or two rings but that's it. I used [*69] to get the number. THIS IS HARASSMENT! Thank GOD my elderly parents are out of town because this would be GREATLY DISTRESSING for them if they were here. (The do not get up until 11am!) When I learn how to effectively complain to Consumer Affairs, I will post that information here.

This company is horrible with unethical practices. I DO NOT owe or Debt Recovery Solutions, LLC any such debt of , or any other amount. Accordingly, please:1) Contact any credit agencies to whom you have reported this alleged debt, and inform them that I am disputing the debt; and 2) Forward a copy of this letter to the creditor who alleges that I owe the debt at issue, and inform them that I am disputing the debt. Further, pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 USC 1692c(c): Debt Recovery Services, LLC, its agents or representatives, or any other company or entity associated with, or working on behalf of, Debt Recovery Services, LLC ARE NOT TO CONTACT, OR ATTEMPT TO CONTACT, ME BY ANY MEANS WHATSOEVER FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. Today is Sunday and they have called 16 times today from 7:42am this morning until 10:16pm when we finally took the phone off the hook. We do not know the person they are hunting but they refuse to stop calling here anyway. This has been going on for over 4 months now and they don't care that the person they are hunting does not live here.We started off being courteous, they have never been courteous. They do not use proper English which doesn't surprise me the least being that people that would do this sort of thing are probably so limited in intellect that this is the only thing in life that they can find to do as a Job.Questions:If we are not who they are hunting, why continue to harass us? What is their real purpose?Isn't there a law about calling on Sundays?Isn't there a law about calling before 8am and after 9pm? (Any Day)Isn't there a law against refusing to stop calling?Isn't terrorism against the law in the United States of America?We turned a log of all their harassing calls over to our local FBI office this past Friday. They said there was noting they could do unless we felt threatened. On recommendation to get the ball rolling, we signed a statement that we “FEARED FOR OUR LIVES”.I suggest everyone else that is an innocent victim of these bottom feeders do the same. Let the FBI go after them for interstate use of federally licensed telecommunications to terrorize innocent American Citizens causing them to "FEAR FOR THEIR LIVES". All you have to do is say you “FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE” from these people.

From all indications of what I have read on this and other internet abuse reporting sites, these people are:1. Dangerous as they have threatened people.2. Have some clandestine motive besides debt collection in mind else they would not keep calling where the person they are hunting does not live and/or is unknown.3. Thrive on harassing innocent people.4. Feel that they are above the Law.5. Are uneducated (evident after talking with one for 30 seconds).5. Inarticulate (evident after talking with one for 30 seconds).6. Foul Mouthed (I have been cursed)7. Raciest (I was referred to as a “You White People”)

I receive about 2 to 3 calls a day from a woman who calls herself as Nancy Miller. Of course, her voice assuming that is her name, is a machine recorded or computer generated. One time, I picked up my phone by accident and it was dead silence at the other end.My next step is to call me phone company to block out this particular number. If that fails, start documenting to file a suit against the company for unnecessary harrassment.

These people call all day long AND for weeks now. Anyway, I called them back finally and told them to take me off their list. She didn't say anything about a debt, just told me to quit yelling (I was explaining that I was on the do not call list and she said there was no such thing) and what was my phone number? I said you're the one calling me you should know it. Then I called her a $%#@ and hung up. Also another company is calling too, Redline Recover 716-250-4800. I guess I'll have to contact the phone company (verizon) and get them both blocked. thanks to all of the above entries, I had no idea others were having this problem....

Calling concerning debt never owed.

recorded message when we answer the phone, askingus to call Nancy Miller. I did call because I had no idea what it was about. Apparently it is a collection agency hired by Sprint. They claim the account is my husbands-before we met. We have asked them to send us in writing paperwork showing he signed to open an account and showing that he lived at the address where the home phone was set up. They cannot do either because it is not his debt. It is a fraudulent account set up by an ex girlfriend. I have done written complaints with BBB, SPrint,Attorney General & FTC.

I saw a missed call on my cell phone and when I called back, the person who finally answered asked who I was. I asked him who they were because they called me. He asked me again who I was and I told him I wanted to know who they were and why they were calling my personal cell phone. He then began to rant off something about me giving up my rights not to reveal who I was because I called a businesss and then hung up in my face!

They keep calling even though we have told them over and over that the person they are trying to find does not live here and that we do not even know this person. I asked the extremely foul mouthed woman on the other end why they refuse to take us off their call list and she said that if all us 'White Trash' would pay our bills then we would not get calls and then she hung up on me....Again. These people are foul Racists and should be avoided at all costs and reported to whoever gives a damned which I have no idea who because it seems from all these messages on here, the law could care less that these DRS Racists are terrorizing innocent American Citizens.If the NAACP is out there to keep us 'White Trash' from terrorizing blacks then who is out there to protect us 'White Trash' from DRS Raciest Blacks?
