Call Time Warner in your area and request they add you to their do not call list and the calls will stop.
Left a voicemail saying:"Hi this is Spectrum dispatch I' was giving you a call I had a ticketing number for you to see if we had anything sooner, but we do not have anything available before the fifth, so they'll leave your appointment as scheduled. Thank you, have a good day."Good thing I didn't pick up. I would have because it had an 800 on it, Do not do it! Whoever it is, if its that important, they'll usually leave a voicemail.
I agree with you and this 1-800-notes is a great service and can be rendered ineffective by some of these lies or perhaps "mistakes". I agree 100% with your comment. I just set an appointment today and received this reminder of the service request.
those surveys are for there customer service but dont take them lightly as they impact there employees. You grade there reps bad the lose money on there bonus checks and can even be terminated. With the way the economy is I wouldnt want anyone to lose there job behind a dumb survey as long as you give there reps a 8 9 10 and on question 4 rank timewarner what ever you and answer yes to question 5 you protect another fellow worker. The company may suck but i dont wish unemployment or loss of wages on anyone and they treat there employees like that. Next time you call ask the rep point blank does that survey impact there job. They will say no because the company tells them not to influence the numbers. The sad thing is from what a sup told me there all the really care about is that stupid 4th question because its about recommending ppl to there company so if you grade that rep u spoke to good they have to pay them more and they cant fire them
Thanks for the info everyone. I assumed this was probably Spectrum aka TWC trying to sell me services and it sounds like that's correct so....onto the blocked list they go. If you have Spectrum phone, I don't know if you can block this number but worth a try. I use OOMA so hoping the block is successful.
If I am not wrong Chase bank had settled a class action lawsuit for some call like this before, hopefully, Spectrum will not be next.
I hate to say it, but AT&T is even worse. I can get internet DSL, and that's the only solution available. Broadcast TV over the air, too.
