They're still at it. Chase Card Services according to CI. Didn't answer. I also receive countless snail mail from this bank yet I opted out of receiving these type of offers. They include a postage paid envelope so I fold all this junk up and send it back to Chase, maybe, they will get the message.
"...no problem with your credit card, now..." Well! They got that part correct, anyway. I don't have any credit cards. All they want is your numbers. I have no numbers to give them.Do you?Have you? Will you?
also, if you go to chase.com and do a search on "blink", you'll see that the chase.com website directs you to chaseblink.com. on chaseblink.com you'll see that the 9452000 number is listed.
I received a call from 800-945-2000 offering to lower my credit card interest rate after listening to his spiel i hung up on him thinking it was a scam. Then he called back from Discover's customer service number and threatened to cancel my card if i did not work with him.
Pleasant recording of a lady, said they want to reduce my visa, master card or discover interest rate. No company offers all of these credit cards, do they? Told me the offer won't be repeated and for info, press 1. Someone not often exposed to English answered and poked several vague statements about my credit, "balance over $4000, interest rate over 12%, never late with payments". I couldn't understand most of the broken English but they needed my credit card number. I told the terrorist that I was driving. He said to pull over to give him the number. Told him I don't carry the card with the high balance since I don't intend to use it further. A lady's voice was now on the line wanted to know when she could call back. Said 30 minutes 2 hours ago. My phone shows their number as +1 (1) (800) 945-2000. Isn't "+1" the additional digit for an international caller?
Called my work number; didn't hear anything when I answered so I hung up. Guess the scammer didn't like the name of my company or they got nervous. Oh well.
Despite the fact that if you call back you get Chase Card Services, a call from them has got to be a SCAM. This is SPOOFING, they make the phone number calling a valid, credible phone number. DO NOT GIVE THEM information. I played along with this guy who tried to give me some nonsense about a lower rate if I could give him my information. Gee, surprise he didn't care what card we were talking about it could be Visa, MC or Discover and if I could give him balance information, card number and expiration date he would be happy to "help" me. When I said he was out of his mind if he thought I could give that information to someone who called me --another surprise "he hung up." Guess "helping" me lower my interest rate was too much work.
