I never answer but I've gotten quite a few calls from 800-945-6596. They never leave a message. I tried to call them back it gives so company name and then asks for my account number so I hung up.

I forgot to add...my calls started LAST sunday (today is saturday) at 11:49 PM!!! Thar was my first indicator that something was fishy. I have a Walmart card though that is a GE Money acct, so I was nervous. Checked my statement online and found that I am not behind, so whatever "debt" they are trying to collect is nonexistent!

I have accounts with GE money. When they call the id says GE money. They do not answer with the vague "account services" and ask for info over the phone. Scam!!

Every morning and evening I am bombarded by calls from 800-945-6596. I have never picked up the phone because it always seemed sort of sketch to me that they would never leave a voicemail. I decided to research the number and found this website, and I am happy that I did and found out that it was a bogus company calling trying to get my social security.

I too have been receiving calls from this number. I finally spoke with someone and they say they are GE Money Services a collection agency but I don not have anything delinquent. They had the last four of my social and wanted me to verify the rest. I called the REAL GE Money BANK to verify and that is a totally different phone number! I have reported this number to the Federal Trade Commission by filing a complaint. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS IT'S A SCAM!!!!

I would like to know WHY this stupid company is calling me about an account that belonged to my boyfriend! I've never and will never have an account with AMERICAN EAGLE!!!! this is freakin ridiculous!!! Don't call me a million times a day and ask me info on something I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH!!! Do you think I'm a secretary? NO!! I don't care who you are trying to FIND...stop calling MY cell phone!!! I don't owe money! What's even more annoying?? They hire people that barely speak English just so they can push your buttons!!!! Ugh! It pisses me off!!

what can one do if I gave out information? I received a call while I was still tired and not fully awake. since i've had an account with the real GE Money, I thought it was legit. I then went on to this site and found out this is not the case.

I called the # back and when asked for my acct # I entered 0000000000000000 then it asked for a zip code I entered 00000 it said it didn't match and tranfered me to a person to talk too. I explained they had the wrong number for the person they were trying to contact and that it was my cellphone. They pulled up the account and removed my number for that account. I then threatened to sue if I heard from them again! So far I haven't had a problem since!
