I get calls from this number at least 4 times a day - My husband has Capital One accounts with no activity. We do not answer calls that come up unknown name or unknown number.

I receive calls from this number on my cell phone at least 3 or 4 times per day. They do not leave a message. I need it to stop.

I'm a capitalone customer and the call was warrented from them but if they expect to be able to call people over and over mulpitple times a day, sometimes even back to back and not leave a message, im sorry but thats plain harassment. I would love to see someone fight these credit collection agencys, you would think that if they just left messages on peoples voice mails as to why they are calling the might save some time and lower their phone bill.

I get calls from this number multiple times a day on my cell phone. I answered only once (the first time) and hung up when the caller didn't respond within a few seconds.

I've recieved confirmation from Capital One that the number 1-800-955-6600 is an outbound dialer's number for the Capital One Credit Card Collections department. In my case, they dialed my number asking for someone named Tammy. When I told them that they have the wrong number, I called back to investigate further, because they were asking for personal information, such as a credit card number and SSN. They told me that my number was dialed because what is now my cell phone number was previously the contact info for a Capital One card holder who, apparently, is now in debt to the company for an overdue payment. From my experience, there is no fraud scheme or identity theft scam involved with this number.

Yeah, I get these calls up to five times daily. They event called at 6:30am! Isn't there some law that does not allow them to call outside the hours of 8am-9pm? I'm going to call my phone company and see if I can get this number blocked!

I recieve about 3 of these same calls per day. I work for a law firm in Austin TX called Palmer and Palmer. I have been informed that this type of harassment is in direct violation of several laws protecting private citizens from harrasing phone calls like these. If you would like some good information on how to stop these calls you can call or visit the FCC website. I have taken care of the problem with them calling me, now its your turn.

They call several times a day and do not leave a message. I refuse to answer any 800 number that comes up on my cell phone, and from what I've read about this particular one, I am very glad that I don't.
