this 8009556600 keeps on calling me 3 times a day and it's bothering me a lot since my daughter told me its a scam number.

UGH! Called 5 times, soooo annoying!

this number has been coming up for several days now.on my caller ID is says signet bank - VA and the number 800-955-6600. I have never even heard of signet bank.

If you have AT&T (SBC)then my BEST suggestion to all of you folks, is to get their "CALL SCREENING" feature for a few bucks a month. With it you can BLOCK UP TO 10 NUMBERS just by punching a few phone keys... After a call: *60, then #01#...which BLOCKS THE LAST # that called you EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE NUMBER! Or you can follow the automated instructions to enter a number, review what numbers are on your "LIST" or delete a number "07" after hearing it from your List. I've had this feature for several years and believe me, it's worth every penny if you get a lot of calls from the same annoying people over and over again. They may start using an alternate number, but just 'add' them to your list also. Get some peace in your life! It's a shame to have to spend a few bucks to stop these calls, but it's better than listening to their crap, getting aggrevated and upsetting your day. It also helps to write your BLOCKED NUMBERS down; I use a 3x5 index card with the date also so I can edit my LIST after a period of time, to make room for another idiots' number. Hope this helps you all.

CALLS EVERY FREAKIN MORNING! WON'T STOP!

Join the club. Karen from captal one is obvisously a computer generated message and has called me 50 times. Captial one is the worst scum on the face of the earth and no call laws are a joke. Reporting them is a joke. The do any damn thing they want and George Bush and his Bushwackers could care less, like everything else for the last 8 years. Change you number is all you can do. A country of laws that no one enforces so we are a lawless country.

I am not late on my bill in fact I am in the process of paying it off, but I have been getting these calls. My phone starts to ring then stops, but the 800-995-6600 appears everytime.

They call my company on a daily basis and just hang up I don't get a chance to sa anything. I called and told them to remove. Who knows. Annoying

I called the main Capitol One number and this is a valid number.
