This is the number for the Salt Lake City location of eBay's Customer Care. I know this because I worked for them. If they are calling you, you can ask them to verify information to ensure it is eBay.
It's definitely ebay. It was an agent calling me as she felt our call had been disconnected. :S
This is legit, I just got the call and the girl just wanted to tell me that it was now free to list items for sale.
I just receive a call too. I answered it but they hung up....I don't understand why they hang up?????.....I get lots of these bothersom calls and the majority hang up if I answer....HOW STRANGE!!!
These idiots claiming that it's not eBay have no idea what they're talking about. eBay calls me from this number once a month, and when they have new tools and features to benefit sellers.
I got called today and the lady just gave me some info on the new insertion fees of just 35 cents for fixed items. It was the first time I was called by ebay and I was waiting for some sales pitch or anything else but nothing came. I sounded a bit paranoid and the lady told me she sensed that but we hung up on a happy note. Seriously, all the people who think this is a scam what on earth do you have to base that opinion on? Nothing! And the person who think that ebay impersonators stole their money need to to really get their internet act together!
It is a ligit call from ebay telling about how they have made changes to the site. Nothing to worry about.

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
