THIS IS EBAY. I WAS TALKING WITH A REP AND GOT DISCONNECTED..THEY CALLED ME RIGHT BACK.If everyone keeps making BS claims, site's like this will be totally useless!

People:Do NOT give these people that call you your personal information. You are just setting yourselves up for a world of hurt!Instead, go to the EBay site and get the Fraud Dept. phone number, and then CALL THEM yourself to check out your account status if you suspect fraud. Initiate the call YOURSELF!Caller ID info can be easily spoofed!

801-545-1800 is a legitimate eBay phone number. I received a message from a lady saying I had a complaint from an eBay purchaser and I had 7 days to reply to the complaint. And it was correct, I did have a complaint from a buyer who did not receive their package. It was taking me awhile to find out what happened with the package and the buyer used the complaint option. It's all good now, but THIS IS REALLY eBay!

This is a legitimate eBay number. I requested that they call regarding a support issue. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that somebody nefarious can't also spoof the same number! Just be smart. If eBay has a reason to call you--like in my case, I asked them to--then great. Otherwise, beware.

THIS IS A LEGIT CALLER.....NOT A LAME SPAM SCAMMER.I get scam callers all day, most everyday and I simply turn my ringer off....works GR8!!! But...this caller9s) are LEGIT!!! I called back this number.....1-801-545-1800 and it was a recording about helping sales, etc. There was absolutely no threats or pressure of any kind and when I checked my messages which I often forget to do, they sure did leave a live message....gal's name and all. She was polite and very assuring that this was only to help sellers on Ebay be noticed more. I complain often about the creeps who do scam-spam and I can assure you all this is not!!!THIS IS A COURTESY CALL IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD!!! THANK GOD FOR THAT!!! LOL HAVE A GR8 DAY!!! &:-)

ebay does have a contact phone number as does pay pal. it's not easy to locate but i di last night.

Received a call from 801 545 1800 and asking for me by my first name, claimed to be eBay. I called eBay customer service to verify this number. CS service said this is not an Ebay number. Caller ID displayed "UTAH CALL 8015451800"

I got a barely understandable message from stubhub basking me if tickets listed on stubhub were still available. I've never gotten a call from them before, only emails.
