have had several calls from this phone number and would like to know what this is in regards to? from every post regarding this number tells me this is a FRAUD and would like for you to lose my phone number!

Actually it is from eBay. I made them give me information off my account to prove it was them. It was their seller central. They never asked for any type of information from me. I sell on eBay.
I got a call today that left a message about ebay...however i do have an ebay store. i did just reach my power seller level a few days ago and on my sellers page it tells me i need to call to discuss increasing my selling limits, etc.This is not a scam. The reason it is not a scam is because it is not asking you for any information. The message was just informative, letting me know of specials for ebay stores on listing prices etc. Everything directed me to ebay.com (my ebay or manage my store). Nothing asked me to call anyone or what my credit card info was or anything about my sales figures...just told me to go to ebay.com and look under selling tools and a couple other things. Also there actually IS a real number to contact ebay. It took awhile to find it but I found it under resolve an issue. Don't know if you can find it if you don't have an active item or not. I have called ebay and talked to them in December and they also help with paypal. (I had an issue with a refund that had not been paid) Of course you have to verify yourself to ebay for your account. If you want to call ebay they have a phone number but you have to contact them online first to get a pin code and that pin number is only good for 15 mins. Always best to be cautious though...soo many scams out there but this one is actually legit.
