It has to be some body with the intent of committing fraud or some thing.I have an E-bay account, and I do all the transactions, nevertheless my wife has received calls originating from this number.How do they know my wife's cell number?. I have never given my wife's cell number, in fact I use PAY PAL, and when a Sellers requires a phone number; I provide my office number.Their message is always to confirm information.

I get these calls alot ... I am a power seller and I have my phone updates on .... this number is not a scam just a ebay update ..... but yes some are scams you just have to be carefull and DONT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO like it sats on all ebay email "we will never ask for a password" If you get a call and they start asking alot of info just ask for their manager or something but never give out anything

This post must have been written by someone else who's scamming on the other end of this phone number. ANYTHING you read regarding this number that claims it is positive or legitimate is a lie!!!

Got two calls and told them twice they had the wrong person. They also said they were from ebay. Watch this scam!!!!!!!!!!!!

****This IS from eBay.****I just received a call from them telling me their new holiday features to my eBay Store, etc. They did not ask me for 'anything' or refer me 'anywhere', itwas strictly for my information. The changes they mentioned are accurate because I had already noticed them. ****This 'is' a ligit call from eBay Services.****

It is a "scam".... Ebay does NOT call customers to give you new information or do surveys about recent Ebay updates. I've had my ID stolen in the past. They ONLY communicate to sellers and buyers through MY EBAY. Do not ever communicate through email, only through their website! Your password will be stolen by the caller or phishing email.

I received a call this morning from this number. It shows up as somewhere in Texas. A male asked for my husband and stated that he wanted to help him maximize his business sales. I told him that I would be glad to have my husband call him back. He advised me that with him being in a call office it would be too hard, but that he would send my husband an email.

It's ebay, it's probably legit, but ebay is still just trying to figure how to get more money from your pocket to thiers. I'm a powerseller, and I hate the commissions, but I just pass along the ebay costs to the buyer. If I'm not making money on an item, I'm NOT listing it!
