I've just read all of your messages, and it seems November is their Quebec month. I live near Montreal and I've just received this same phone call for the first(and - I surely hope)last time. But, I must say, I'm jealous of the other ''victims'' ! No ''You've won a trip'' for me ... Just a hang up ! I feel kind of bad. Am I not good enough to be lied to and insulted before they hang up on me ? ;-)''Soulfilet'' provided good advice, and, I think the best thing to do for us in Quebec (if a person comes on the line) is to preted we don't understand them and only speak french. That may stop them from trying.I also thing that the few persons who say they took the trip and are happy they did probably work for this company.
i just received a call from 802.681.4148 telling me that i had won a 5 night all inclusive trip to cancun and claiming that i had entered the contest through a website. all i had to do was pay the taxes. i was then prompted to "press 9 now, press 9 now"... so i hung up.i guess people will try anything to make a buck.
The Wife got a call that she had won a cruise (automated). Since she had a call on the other line, she put the Scammer on hold. When she got back to them, they asked to key in a pass# or 2 to disconnect. Since she had no number to key in, she waited until they hung up. Sounds fishy.
Answered and heard the recorded voice of a chirpy woman trying to get me to take an all-included trip to Las Vegas. I hung up right away.
Recording that starts with "Congratulations, you've just won...", which was just about all it had time to say before I reached my weekly waste of time limit :)
Just got this call 15 minutes ago in Edmonton, Alberta. They have called numerous times before and I've always just picked it up and immediately hung up. Think they'd get a clue...
Just received a call from this number. It was a recording stating that I had won a trip after filling out an online form/contest (which I NEVER do). I hung up immediately.
