The phone just rang 5 minutes ago. I have caller ID. A female, cheery voice (obviously a prerecorded voice) said "Congratulations! You just won a Caribbean cruise. To claim your prize, press 9." I'm pretty sure this is a telemarketing fraud. I reported it to the RCMP, they have a website for this kind of thing.
I've received this call at 4 h 57 today on November 27. They told me I won a cruise in the Carribeans but I hung after that.
Telling me that I won a trip and by listening to our local news on TQS on television I learned that it is a telemarketing fraud...
