Exactly, the same phone call twice. Yesterday, in the morning and tonight at 19 h 10. When I pick up the phone, I can hear : "Congretulations! You have won a cruise from Carribian and press 9 is the key. I did't press anything and I stop the recording. After, I ask for the last phone number I got, and it was 802 681 4148

I'm also from Montreal and I got a call from this number... This isn't the first time, either. I've gotten about 5 calls from this number on my home phone and twice on my cell! I don't even use my cell!!I actually called the number back once and it was busy. I didn't know who it was and wanted to find out so I searched here online.Yup! You guessed it, it's an unlisted number! However, I dug a little deeper and found out that the call at least originated from Bennington, VT. The provider for this number is Kmc Telecom V, Inc. - Vt company.I intend on giving KMC TELECOM V, Inc. a call tomorrow morning and informing them of this abuse! Of course, they probably won't do anything because these jack-[***] are paying long distance charges to call us all!Oh, by the way, if anyone from this company is reading this, you're not just calling a bunch of ignorant people! The reason I was able to find this small bit of information so easily here online is because I'm a network security analyst and, believe me, I have much more powerful tools to use at work to track your fraudulent butts down and send the authorities right to your door! It's been done by myself and people in my position before, it will be done again!

I ALSO got threatened!! A guy said "This is bigger than you can imagine and you have no idea who you're dealing with." I asked if he was one of those guys in jail who they hire to do telemarketing. lol. He was verrrry nasty and called me a moron, etc. After the zillionth call, I finally said, "Oh really? All I have to do is give you my credit card number and I can have a free trip?? Then let me go get my number for you. Okay, here's my number (totally made up). Then, when there was a problem with the number, I kept saying "oops, sorry, I guess you wrote that down wrong, I said ______ (new number with slight variation). haha

Why are these people allowed to stay in business? First mention on here of this phone # and their scam is JUNE 2007!!! It's now February 2008 and still the scam is active! WTF?!!? What's it take for a little justice around here? Or are they only targetting people outside of the US now?Well, 802 is a number in Bennington, Vermont. We could get together and pay them a little visit...

Call the Visa center fraud line and get a manager, also call or visit your bank branch and speak to the manager and tell them what happened and that it is fraud... Demand a new number and that the amount be removed or simply close the account "better idea", if you have problems go to the head office of the bank.....

I get the same damn call at least once a month. Dial 9 for the carribean cruise I just won. I wish to heck these guys would get another life and stop bothering us. Why do we have to put up with crap like that.
