Two calls within one minute. Seemed to disconnect quickly.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER I HAVE SENT MY EMAIL WITH MY NUMBER TO JOB OFFERS ON CRAIGSLIST I DIDN'T ANSWER BUT WHEN I CALLED BACK ANSWERING MACHINE CAME ON AND SAID SORRY YOU CALL CAN NOT BE ANSWERED THE VMAIL SOUNDED HOMEMADE DONT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK.

Never did a craig list; but just received a first text message from someone in the hospital overseas about an hour before this call -

Here's what's happening. They are calling Sprint customers because Sprint (and it's affiliates Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile, etc, etc, etc) own blocks of numbers in various area codes. They got the list of Sprint numbers and they're using the numbers to try to fool people into giving out enough information to get credit card numbers by pretending to be Sprint customer service agents. They're probably targeting Spanish speakers in hopes of getting credit card information from recent Mexicans immigrants who aren't familiar with how things work in the states.It's illegal to telephone solicit cell phones unless a person has a prior business relationship with the solicitor and gave the solicitor the number. It's also illegal to call a number on the national DNC list for the same reason. BUT! They're trying to commit a crime anyway, so I don't think they're too concerned with that.

A fat lot of good it seems to report this. This has been going on for months. If you do not know the number, do not answer your phone.

got a call in NY but didn't pick up because i was looking up this number while it was ringing. probably some scam.

please report this number to the phone company

Got this call and since I don't know the number I didn't answer. They left a voice mail saying that I won a prize. Yeah right! My friend was not as smart and gave them he account #. Within seconds they emptied her account. Don't be stupid! If I don't know the number I don't answer. If they don't leave a voice mail then I guess it wasn't that important.

PPL, JUST PLEASE DON'T ANSWER CALLS WITH UNFAMILIAR NUMBERS! IM PRETTY SURE, IF IT IS IMPORTANT, THEY SHALL LEAVE YOU A MESSAGE! I also get calls from unidentified numbers including this number nd I nevr bother to answer! It's just common sense:)

Well I got the mysterious call today didn't answer called back and it said, 'sorry, your call could not be completed...' then it called me again thought it was cartel and cussed em out in spanIsh even though im asian haha... But since its from my ipod you can disconnect your signal so they cant call again... Hope that helps...seeya!
