This number claimed to be Sprint, and wanted my husband to confirm his identity. It had a recording, which said something close to "If you are John Doe, press 1" (they actually say your name though). At that point, he hung up.What is interesting is that he had received multiple unknown calls before this one - one with a woman claiming to be with Sprint, telling him that they wanted to change his calling plan, and then trying to get personal information out of him. He hung up on them at this point. I am going to look up the other phone numbers and then post them here, so the rest of you can see other potential numbers that may try to call you :)

Just got the same call... number is not in general circulation.Phone was setup through virgin less than 3 months ago.Any other virgin users?

Just got a call from this number on my direct office line here at work in Vegas. Didnt leave a message and I didnt pick it up.

Next time they call, blow a whistle as loud as you can. pay back is a bit**. just make sure it's the right #.

Got a call from this #. Vermont area code. Didn't answer it, let my voicemail pick up but the other party didn't lv any mssgs. Oh well.

i got the call on my Video relay service for the deaf and hard of hearing.......how they got that number i'll never know i dont even know the number.

I got this call at 8:21 PM and i have no idea what it said because it was in spanish, then it just ended. I called the number back and an unofficial sounding message informed me that my call could not be completed. I don't even have a smart phone, just a simple sprint plan.
