Got the $2.99 charge on my Rogers Home Phone Bill for Sept. Called Rogers, the chat agent said the charge was a valid one and could not adjust it back at the beginning. I insisted that we did not make the "Directory Assistance" call 8077881246 and request the chat agent to check this site. At this end, I got my $$ back.Thanks for everyone that spent time adding your experience.

Scam - I was charge for a call from this number from my telephone provider. When I complained they said I would have to have pressed 1 to accept the call which I did not.

807-788-1246 just appeared on my Cogeco phone bill as a$3.94 charge - we did not call themand Cogeco did reverse the charge for me

When I saw this number as a usage charge on my account, I was suspicious. So I entered the number in a Google search and found a list of others who had been scammed with this number. I called Bell, expressed my concerns and the charge was reversed. I also asked the Bell rep to ask that this scam be investigated.

Got bill from phone company with $3.49 charges as alternate long distance provider - Triton Global. Called Shaw and they told me this is a collect call company, got reimbursed by Shaw but they told me they might charge me next month and I will need to fight with them ( Triton). Will see...

Ditto here. Feb 2015 bill had one item from Triton Global, a supposed Operator Assisted reverse lookup for 807 788-1246 billed at $3.49+taxes.Called Bell at 10:10 am, got CS rep within 2 minutes, and she immediately removed the charge. Was very courteous but had no info on why that was added to the bill. Is escalating to ensure future charges from Triton are blocked.Seems like Bell's phone customer service is mirroring the excellent service given by its Fibe group. Well done Bell. (And bonus: Emily is dead!)

Fraudulent $2.99 charge placed on our Bell Canada Telephone Bill for "Directory Assistance" for January 2014.Following complaint, Bell connected me with "Triton Global" at 1 (866) 340-4990 (the company that placed the charge on the phone bill).After 10 requests, the employee that answered finally identified herself as "Elana" then said she couldn't hear me, then said she didn't like my attitude and hung up.Another call to Bell and they removed the fraudulent charge.

I received an extra charge on my phone bill from Shaw this month under the heading "Alternate Long Distance Provider - Triton Global" and the bill showed this phone number (807-788-1246) as the number called. Strangely, the number was called in January but it only showed up on my March phone bill from Shaw. It said it was a 5 minute call and the charge was $3.49 - I contacted Shaw and requested a reversal of this charge as I absolutely did not use this service.
